If your child is in Year 6 you will be starting to plan for their move to Secondary School.
Hampshire County Council manages admissions. They will be in contact with you through your junior/primary school when it is time for you to apply for your child’s place at a local secondary school. Usually, this is in the October just after your child enters Year 6. Information on the process can be found on their website by clicking here (link opens in a new window). You can also apply online or by post.
To find out if you are in our catchment area please click here (link opens in a new window).
An address in the catchment area does not guarantee your child a place and so it’s advisable to also make contact with some of the other schools in Gosport.
If your Year 6 child currently attends private school and you are applying for a place at our school, please contact the Admissions Team in Winchester on 0845 603 5623.
If you are applying for a place for your child between Years 7 and 11, you can:
- apply online by clicking here (link opens in a new window);
- phone the admissions team at Hampshire County Council on 0845 603 5623; or
- phone our admissions team on 023 9258 7931.
You can download a copy of our current admissions policy from the Policies page (link opens in new window).
If your child has been refused admission to a school you have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel. Information about the appeal process is available in the following documents:
