CATERING

Dear Parent/Carer,

 

Bay House School and Sixth Form operates a system of cashless catering for the purchase of food and drinks.

 

Within the catering area, cash is not accepted as payment. Money can be loaded on to pupil accounts via the cash loaders within the school. Alternatively, money can be loaded on via ParentPay, the online system that supports the cashless catering system, using a credit or debit card.

 

Pupils can access their account to purchase items or load money onto their account using their fingerprint. A permission slip MUST be completed by the parent/carer to allow us to take a pupils fingerprint.

 

For children eligible for free school meals, money will be loaded directly onto their account. If you wish to apply for free school meals, please complete the form listed below.

 

You can access your child’s purchase history on ParentPay in order to track their diet and/or the amount of money they are spending. We also have the facility to set spending limits on pupil accounts on receipt of a written request from the parent/carer.

 

ParentPay can also be used to pay for music tuition and for some school trips. Please click on the ParentPay tab for more information.
