Registration and Assemblies
All pupils should be in their tutor base by 8.40 am at the latest when the register will be taken. Afternoon registration will be taken by the subject teacher at the start of Period 4 in teaching groups. Assemblies normally take place in the Main Hall or Lower Hall. On Assembly days pupils will move directly to their assembly venue, without going to their tutor base, and registration will be taken by tutors at 8.40 am. The rota for assemblies is as follows:
Monday - Year 7
Tuesday - Year 9
Wednesday - Year 10 and Sixth Form
Thursday - Year 8
Friday - Year 11

08.35 am: Move to tutor base
08.40 am - 08.55 am: Tutor Time/Registration
09.00 am - 10.00 am: Period 1
10.05 am - 11.05 am: Period 2
11.05 am - 11.20 am: Break (15 mins)
11.20 am - 12.20 pm: Period 3
12.20 pm - 13.00 pm: Lunch Break (45 mins)
13.05 pm - 14.05 pm: Period 4
14.10 pm - 15.10 pm: Period 5
15.10 pm: Close of formal day
15.15 pm: Extension of activities begin
* school finishes for pupils 14.05 pm on Mondays, except for some classes
